Responsibilities

• Create animations for feature films
• Animate realistic, story-driven character actions that are exciting, emotional, and compelling
• Creates scene layouts using a library of assets
• Work closely with Animation Supervisor and Animation Director to deliver quality animation on time within daily animation output.
•  Participant in team discussions, critiques and reviews.
• Coordinate the visual effects output and quality control

Requirements

• Exceptional animation skills
• Able to deliver expected quality on time
• Strong understanding of traditional animation principles, acting, and storytelling
• Good communication skills, a motivated team player
• A passion for animation
• Knowledge of Maya

Pluses

• 3 years’ or more experience in short or feature film.
• A good technical understanding of models and rigs
• Skills in other areas of production e.g. modeling, scripting, concept, rigging, comping
